Dr. BEHGAL KULJINDER SINGH

I did my MBBS from Government Medical College Patiala ,followed by MD in radiotherapy from AIIMS (New Delhi),received my Diplomate National Board (DNB) in radiotherapy in 1998 , and also completed my senior residency in the same in December 1999.

To my credit with the help of the AIIMS team and various agencies I have 21 poblications in indexed journals of which 7 are in international  journals.My major field of interest is  targetted radiotherapy and interstitial brachytherapy in limb sarcomas .

I started my practice as BEHGAL  HOSPITAL in Mohali (Punjab), in January 2000. I set up Mohali’s first  linear accelerator SIEMEN’s PRIMUS 6,15 Mv with electrons (4-22MeV) in INDUS Hospital ,Mohali in 2006 .being the only facility of our kind in the region ,we developed a major referral base from various  free lance and independent oncologists, surgeons, physicians ,nursing homes, hospitals .Amongst our noteworthy attachments are with :

In December 2013 , we set up BEHGAL INSTITUTE OF IT & RADIATION TECHNOLOGY (BIIRT) , INDIA’s first and only dedicated radiation facility with ELEKTA and NUCLETRON  (now merged). This is a unique and singular set-up .The facility has

In September 2015 we annexed and developed a dedicated cancer hospital BEHGAL CANCER INSTITUTE which has state of the art technology ,and highly qualified faculty ,and a dedicated pain clinic, HOSPICE, & holistic team specially trained for terminal patients.
